The stability of TheRollerCane comes from the large base and not having to pick it up to move it for every step which is required with a cane or a quadcane. TheRollerCane naturally moves along with you, rolling with every step

Where you can use TheRollerCane

TheRollerCane comes standard with 3 inch rubber wheels. This size wheel works best indoors on level surfaces but maneuvers well on asphalt and concrete. It is quite controllable on slight slopes.

Please avoid using it on large gravel, uneven turf and stairs.

Development

We are in the process of testing larger sized wheels for uneven turf.

Other than our main manufacturing facility in Sparta, TN., we have a testing and development shop in McMinnville, TN. The McMinnville shop is overseen by our chief engineer and our development and quality control manager. This is where new developments, such as wheel sizes, hand brake, etc. are tested.

Developing a hand brake as an option

One thing that the Physical Therapist haven’t had an issue with but those considering buying TheRollerCane for a spouse or family member is a braking system. TheRollerCane doesn’t roll out away from you but, we are developing a braking system as an option for those who request it.
